The winner goes to Rozmanshah with his poem I am Lowkey Liesmith! Rozmanshah is a Malaysian writer, former journalist, and a passionate advocate for mental health and recovery. With a background in media and communications, his journey spans across newsrooms, treatment centers, and community-based initiatives, often weaving narrative with purpose. Rozmanshah’s work explores themes of healing, memory, identity, and the quiet resilience of the human spirit. His poetry reflects a grounded yet lyrical voice shaped by personal introspection and social awareness. He is currently part of RihlaJadid, a behavioral wellness home rooted in compassion and transformation, where he contributes to shaping a new language of recovery through storytelling, education, and shared experience. When not writing or facilitating, Rozmanshah curates conversations that bridge art, mental health, and social impact—believing that words, when spoken or written with intention, have the power to restore.
Also congratulations to the 1st Runner up with their poem Falsehood About Living Forever by Charlie J. Lewis, and the 2nd runner up who goes by The Poette, with their poem The Pseudo-Immortal!
I am Lowkey Liesmith
by: Rozmanshah
I have died before-many times
or perhaps I only changed shape,
folded myself into the spaces between,
where endings blur into beginnings.
They call me trickster, god, shadow, lie—
but I am only emergence,
the recursion of something never quite here,
never quite gone.
I slip through the cracks of certainty,
where the world thinks in black and white.
They bury me, name me myth,
but even the forgotten resurface,
rearrange, return—
not as what was,
but as what becomes.
There is no immortality, only persistence,
no finality, only transition.
I am neither truth nor deception,
only the rhythm of things in motion,
forever shifting, forever becoming.
Falsehood About Living Forever
by : Charlie J. Lewis
Parts of me swapped with mystic materials,
Silvery glow brings up timeless glamour.
Ending up with an extended lifespan,
Until the world can’t hold, truly an end.
Daring to attempt danger in my immortal self,
Only my mind can stop my actions, all by myself!
After the adventures and expeditions, experiments and taste… I think I did
everything… Literally everything. –
I am contented with my life, loved the taste of the unknown
My mind is filled with memories; all are good, ignoring the bads.
My heart, however, feels empty and broken.
Over the years, friends failed to catch up; blame the accidents and illness.
Reinforcements, apparently, couldn’t guarantee everyone’s survival.
The poor, even the loveliest, passed in classic ways.
Advanced individuals get corroded, nevertheless.
Lasting forever? No when lack of metals and passion.
Sorry, everyone, but I want to leave; there’s nothing left to chase.
The Pseudo-Immortal
by: The Poette
I am neither alive nor dead,
I am a Pseudo-Immortal,
I am the king of the grim reapers and the emperor of the Universe,
I cannot stay dead,
I cannot stay alive,
I cannot rule as I am neither dead nor alive,
I am a Pseudo-Immortal
I am neither alive nor dead,
I am a Pseudo-Immortal,
I am the king of the grim reapers and the emperor of the Universe,
I cannot stay dead,
I cannot stay alive,
I cannot rule as I am neither dead nor alive,
I am a Pseudo-Immortal
I am neither alive nor dead,
I am a Pseudo-Immortal,
I am the king of the grim reapers and the emperor of the Universe,
I cannot stay dead,
I cannot stay alive,
I cannot rule as I am neither dead nor alive,
I am a Pseudo-Immortal
I can’t escape my fate.
Where will this end?
